Hi cadets, long time no see... haha
Three important updates:
1. Yup you're right! No training this week (05th Nov, Wed) due to Promotions Exercise. My best wishes to all cadets; hopefully all promoted to the next level!
2. Jonie, Hannah, Ling Li & Noticeboard Team - Please make sure noticeboard is up and going latest by Thurs (06th Nov). I'm giving you a budget of $10 to work with, remember: think simple but be creative! Target: Let's make the board ATTRACTIVE, STUNNING & WOW!!!!
3. To all Sec 1 NPCC cadets, please be reminded that you will be going to the Zoo for the final part of the Service Learning. The details are as follow:
Date: 10th Nov 2008 (Mon)
Time: 12.30pm to 5.30pm
Attire: NPCC Yellow T-shirt & school pants/skirt (Remember to bring your yellow t-shirt on Monday)
Cost: Nil (Since you paid $10 during 1st visit and it includes this 2nd admission as well)
By the way, all of you must group yourself in pairs and you will be partnering a Primary 4 student from Mee Toh School. I want all of you to start planning on what to do for the trip. You have 2.5 hrs (from 2pm to 4.30pm) to bring them all around the Zoo and visit both the exhibits that you were trained in.
The following cadets will be in-charge of planning the activities:
Programme Committee
In-charge of Overall Briefing, Talk at the Exhibits, Planning the Tour & Team Distribution (Pairing of Cadets)
1. Yong Teck 1A1 - Leader of Programme Committee
2. Conan 1A2
3. Charmaine 1E2
4. Ying Xue 1E4
5. Deborah Melissa 1A3
6. Boon Hao 1A1
Games Committee
I/C of planning some activities on the bus ride and some fun games at the zoo. (I will set aside a budget of $10 for presents eg. tidbits/chocolates)
1. Jing Zhi 1E1 - Leader of Games Committee
2. Kush Yogesh 1A2
3. Nur Syafiqha 1A3
4. Solehin 1A2
5. Weng Wei 1T1
6. Noratika 1A1
To the other cadets - YOU must participate actively under this committee. The reason being for the next activity, it will be your turn to lead and you will need the support from them as well.
Ms Tan (teaching Geog & PE) who is also in-charge of NPCC, will be passing you a letter for your parents. Please ensure that your parents read the letter. Should there be any problems, please refer to me or Ms Tan.
