I hope the training earlier today was a great reunion for most of us after almost two months of not coming together. I apologise I did not armed myself with a camera to take all of you in action - cheering at the top of your voices, trying to shake the school building down (",)
Nonetheless, I have some pictures of our Sec 3 NCOs practising hard for an upcoming competition. Interested to know what they are training for? Ask them yourself...
The thing is, as you view these pictures below or at the side scroll if you wish to save them in your computer - please bear in mind the word 'COMMITMENT'.
To be a good cadet, one needs to have commitment! To be committed to what you are doing, to be committed in attending each training, to be committed to making frinds within the Unit. The question is - ARE YOU COMMITTED ENOUGH?
Commitment is not a commodity that is up for sale. Neither is it an item that can be traded. It comes from the heart, purely out of one's sincerity to believe passionately in what they do.
While I always hear each of you complain and dragging your feet to attend weekly trainings, our Sec 3s are busy planning your training schedule. They voluntarily meet up after school to do up the noticeboard. They willingly meet up after school to train for this upcoming competition. And they are not even complaining to say the least. Now that's what we call COMMITMENT!
