One-Star Kayaking Course

On the 30th January and 6th February, some of the Secondary 2 cadets, our 2 Secondary 5 cadets and 2 CIs went for a One-Star Kayaking Course at the Singapore Canoe Federation.

The course lasted for 2 days on Saturdays from 8am to 3pm.

It was really an enjoyable experience for all of us! Though some of us were terribly sunburnt and turned all dark and black! Teeeheee ^^

Throughout the course, some of us became more bonded and became more open to each other. It was really great to see all of us opening up to each other. As said before, cause all of us are a family and we should! :)

I am really proud of the cadets for working together, helping each other capsizing and all, and even carry the heavy kayaks to and fro. I'm sure all of us learnt alot of things from the 2 days course.

Lastly, we have GREAT NEWS for the unit, all of us has passed the One-Star Kayaking Course successfully! YAY! WELL DONE GUYS! :)

We will be getting our certificate, probably next month.

Thank you teachers for following us. We really enjoyed ourselves and are really looking forward for the Two-Star Kayaking Course! Hehe ^^
