Updates - Sec 2 Cadets

Hi Sec 2s cadets, just a few updates.

1. Asian Youth Games (AYG) NPCC Representatives - Mon, 29th Jun 2009

• To the 6 representatives (Benny, Yong Teck, Yue Long, Charmaine, Joanne & Stefan), please bring along your NPCC yellow t-shirts and NPCC pants/skirts (half uniform) on top of your school uniform. Do not worry, Ms Crystal Quek will make announcement for all the CCA representatives regarding the venue and timing to assemble.

2. Total Defence Silver Badge - Deadline (Mon, 29th Jun 09)

• This coming Monday will be the deadline for the submission of your total defence (silver) projects. Any late submissions will not be entertained. Hence, make sure you hand up the project in my pigeon hole by 12pm latest! If you pass, you will receive a new Total Defence Silver badge!

3. SANA Anti Drug & Inhalant Abuse Badge - Online Project

• To get your SANA badge, cadets are required to perform the role of a "Transfer Agent" by spreading anti-drug messages to your parents & friends. Following that, you are required to complete an online questionnaire at the following website http://www.sana.org.sg/badgeproject/. Once you complete this questionnaire with your full particulars, your name will be sent to NPCC Headquarters and they will send the badge to us. Good luck!

4. Road Safety Park Marshall Duty - Tue, 30th Jun 200

• Cadets will be excused from classes @ 1pm to leave for Road Safety Park at East Coast for their compulsory marshall duty. Please bring along your full NPCC uniform and writing materials. You will have a chance to take on the role of a Traffic Police officer. Definitely worth the fun :)

5. Road Safety Park Training Badge

• Based on last year's attendance, all 30 badges are in. Those Sec 2s who attended the training last year will be getting the badge at the next Muster Parade. Yipeee!

6. Corporal Promotional Test

• The last promotional test was rather disappointing and not up to the desired standards. Cadets are to work harder for the next retest. Details will disseminated in due time. Once you clear the test, a new Corporal rank awaits you!
