Our cadets at Kuching, Sarawak

Hi everyone,

Six of our cadets had an overseas trip to Kuching, Sarawak from the 4 - 7 June under the Malay Department. They are Kush, Stefan, Zulhilmi, Siti Hajar, Deborah & Syafiqah.

Our purpose of visiting Kuching was mainly to learn the various cultures that they practiced as a way of life. One of the cultures includes the Ibans (Sea Dayaks). Ibans were the original headhunters in Borneo.

Besides learning cultures, we also had fun.

Here are more photos with description:

Cat monument representing the state

Skull of the largest crocodile in the world

A tail - less crocodile; there are only very few left in the world

Tuak (rice wine) given to people in the form of honouring them

The six of us posing at the Annah Rais Longhouse

With this, we would like to conclude this post.
